It’s that time guys. I can’t emphasize enough, how important it is to vote. Honestly up until recently, I did not realize HOW important it really is. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve voted since the time I was able to, but my young brain didn’t fathom the importance up until recently. I fear this is the problem with most young people. But hopefully Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande help persuade the youngsters otherwise. NOT KANYE!!!!! (Never thought I would say something like that, but hey…whatever it takes.)
So listen…times are scary AS FUUUUUUUCK. But it can all stop and change. Starting with YOU!! I know, you think, “oh I’m just one person, my vote doesn’t matter.” IT DOES!!!!! Never, in my lifetime has Gandhi’s saying “BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD” been so relevant. The time is now. Change has to happen. I’m terrified of what America has become..terrified to be raising my son in such a corrupt place, full of discrimination, hatered, division, and so little respect for each other. Let’s rise up against this. Stand for what is right. BE THE CHANGE!!!!! Please! VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!!!!!
Girl, thank you for posting this!!!! I feel too many celebs post their politics trying to influence people, and it’s scary as heck to think that someone with as big of a fan base as Taylor Swift could influence voters to vote as she votes without actually looking at who is the best candidate. Fortunately, America was tired of Obama’s lies, racism, and deceit and kept Clinton out of the White House (great documentary on her family on A&E).
