Ok…WTF IS CONTOUR!?!?!?! Listen. To. Me. I don’t have time to do all that, sis. And honestly tho, I don’t even know how! So unless my makeup is just whack AF and no one has the balls to tell me, you don’t need to paint leopard spots on your face with different color foundation or whatvaa.
You want my makeup secrets? (Thanks to my gorgeous friend Katy Hodges @katyhodges, who by the way is sensational and beats face like no other) I use the following things AND save money:
For my foundation I mix L’oreal- infallible prolong (the blue one) with Maybelline- fit me foundation (matte)
After applying my foundation, I do my brows with Rimmel “brow this way”. I just use the powder side because I have no idea how to apply the wax side lol. Im the worst female of all time.
After my brows are done, I use the MEAN GIRLS palette that Holly bought me for my shadow. I literally live for the color "glen coco". I just blend a tiny bit in the crease of my eye ball and voila!
Next, I use Mac studio finish concealer (in the pod) for the overnight bags that stay located under my eyes, as well as the acne that I struggle with. (Yes, I struggle with adult acne…see Pizza Face for details.) This is the only Mac product I use on my face. I feel it's over priced and you can get the same quality for cheaper at target or a drug store. I do really love this concealer tho.
After my concealer is applied, I finish my face off with covergirl trublend powder all over, and complete my look by bronzing my cheeks with covergirl trublend minerals (435) and dusting my cheekbone with wet n wild “to reflect” shimmer powder highlight.
To complete my day/night/I don’t really wear makeup look, I use my favorite mascara, covergirl lash blast volume. On occasion, I glue on lash strips. (I can’t have eyelash extensions. Another blog post will be posted about this.)
Last but never least, my lips. My go to day color is Mac liner "spice" with "honey love" lipstick topped with Fenty Beauty lipgloss. I believe there is only one color. It is like The perfect nude toned gloss. And for night time, my go to is Mac liner "absolutely it" with "twig" lipstick. The other 80% of the time I’m wearing chapstick.
So simple. And…the best part…its so little makeup that its not a drastic difference between me wearing it and not. Cause Lord knows, if I don’t have to cake it on, I most certainly do not.
Please don’t get me wrong, I admire the work of all makeup artists, as well as the women who are always full out. I just genuinely don’t have time and I don’t know how haha straight up. So, this is me. Boom. Byeee.
