Welcome to my real life blog, for real life moms and women just like me!

MILF and COOKIES is finally up and running and to be completely honest, I have no idea what I’m doing!

So I’m starting with this:

I’ve been admiring all these mom bloggers on insta for years now and I just can’t seem to wrap my head around their lives. Its dreamy and perfect. All of them have custom built homes, their husbands go to work so that they can stay home with their beautiful children with cute ass names, and tell us about the errands they are running while still managing to look flawless even after they workout. They open these packages that companies send them full of product that most of us can’t even pronounce. Have eyelash extensions that a lot of us can’t afford or can’t have because we're highly allergic to the glue (I’m not bitter or anything lol). Their photos look so effortless…kids always dressed and hair done, face fully beat, showcasing their designer bags and basic outfits from Nordstrom, that even when linked “on sale” are the same price I pay for car insurance every month. I admire them, and aspire to be like them (**in some ways**), but lets be real, as a single mom, this is currently not realistic for me, and I know I’m not alone. #milfandcookies is for those of you who, like me, want product suggestions, everyday outfit inspo that is fun and fresh and stands out from anything anyone else is wearing. Fun ideas of things to do with your kids or places to take your boo for date night, all without having to stress about money and looking dreamy AF while doing it.

So, whether you’re a college student, a happily married mom of 3, or a single mom of 1. A successful woman that just maybe is looking for a fun edge to add to her wardrobe...this is the blog for you. Full of tips, tricks, rants, and stories.

Join me on this crazy little journey I’ve decided to dive into. I’m super nervous, but equally as excited! I pray you all give me a chance to show you that life truly is what YOU make it, not what THEY make it seem like it has to be.
